"FANTAS THE DJ" is a high profile deejay and one of the fastest growing deejays to come out of the Free State. His level of professionalism, his eagerness to progress and desire to explore & meet new challenges, has pushed him to build a strong reputable brand that continues to generate a vast majority of followers wherever he is booked. Having being in the game for more than 10 years as a product of the Soul Candi Institute Of Music, his experience and knowledge of the industry makes him stand out from most deejays. He has become an inspiration for the young and upcoming artists with his ability to rock the dance floors and maintain a high standard of one biggest events on the Free State's social calender, his Annual Birthday Festival in his home town Allanridge.
The Allanridge born Deejay and producer's skills and hunger to become better every time has resulted in his rise to fame and now recognised outside the boarders of Free State. This journey also came with a few accomplishments. A list that includes being named as an Ambassador of an energy drink "Zzero Hangover" & sparkling wine “Lavante”, interviews on national radio stations and the entertainment show "Real Goboza", profile publications on various newspaper and magazines like Daily Sun, Vista newspaper and Enthooze magazine, has his own complete and up & running website (www.fantasthedj.co.za) to name a few.Not forgetting special appearances on national TV for a SABC1 Live Broadcast of Beach On The Track (A Huge Annual 31st December event) and Prince Kaybee's music video, has been mentioned several times on one of the biggest Podcasts in Africa (Podcast & chill with MacG), as well as being a resident deejay on one of the top Radio stations (Metro FM) on Mo’G’s morning drive show, as well as his appearance on one of the biggest channels (Channel O) on the Lockdown house Party hosted by Dj PH & Dj Shimza which he trended number 7 on Twitter, was a brand ambassador of the clothing brand Amakipkip & sales went up in the Free State.
What stands out the most is the hosting of his 9000 event (The Parking lot) plus Annual Birthday charity drive(15th June) to help school children with under privileged backgrounds. To top it off, during Lockdown he developed a new concept, a new event (Drip Sundays) & in less than 3 weeks, it was a sold out show, it continues to grow & is actually in demand, even in today. Speaking of which, he had the opportunity to be mentored by Tlee, Cassper’s manager, & has been consistent throughout his career as far as bookings go! He is set out to release his first EP titled “CONSISTENCY” as appreciation for his work & persistence.

The charity drive includes a soccer tournament and an invitation of beneficiary schools based in Allanridge. The charity drive hands over food parcels and school shoes to the under privileged children. The day of the drive is filled with joyous celebrations with sports and music and a few motivational words from high figures from the Matjhabeng Municipality and now the MEC of Arts & Culture who has now adopted the charity drive as one of the events she attends annually. The event now attract great media attention and is growing every year.
His hand is not only limited to the charity drive, his philanthropic humility is an everyday of life. He recently bought a bicycle for a needy scholar that travels long distances to attend classes and he is involved ina alot of community building projects for the advancement of the youth and job creation.
FANTAS THE DJ's talent and progress in the music industry does in no way give him a big head. His annual event "The PARKING LOT" which is on its firth year promotes local talent to share the stage with their idols such as Casper Nyovest, AKA, Kwesta, Sjava, Lady Zamar, Nasty C, Prince Kaybee & A-Reece to name a few. His line up consist of no less than 30 local acts annually. He is a firm beliver that he will not want to be alone on top as it will get lonely. So giving a helping hand to young upcoming performers will always be a priority.
The event attracts a crowd of 8000 plus annually and has been earmarked as one of the "Not To miss" events in Free State.
With his iconic prayer intro at the start of every set he plays and his philosophical way of calling himself as "The Highly Favoured", it comes with no surprise that brands took note and wants to associate themselves with him. A brand Ambassador of "Zzero Hangover" and a sponsored tour bus by only the stepping stone to greater things come for his brand.
A music industry brand like him, it comes as no surprise that Fantas has three tracks and one music video under his title. The dance floor disc jockey has been doing moew djying than being in the studio, but that does not mean he does not push for national airplay of his songs, more especially "Highly Favoured" which made it on Lesedi FM's playlist. With so much talent to expose within Free State, he is most certainly going to collaborate with more young talented acts in the near future to release more material.
Residency of every Thursday at the forever vibrant Giovanis Restaurant and Bar further cements his roots to his local fans within Matjhabeng that helped him reach greater heights through that loyalty and support. This is the place whre his fans get to taste the real dance floor rocker and the forever evolving "Fantas The DJ"
A prominent feature in the biggest annual events within and outside the borders of Free State. It is at these events like : Mangaung Cultural Festival, All White Sixties, Potchefsroom, Phakisa Bottoms Up NYE, Matsimoholo NYE Sasolburg, Maseru Summer Festival Lesotho and many other annual events that consistantly book him that most people start to pay attention that he is not your average deejay. He is destined for far bigger. His tenacity behind the decks is the art of pure talent that will sustain his brand for many years. However, he is level headed enough and not shy to carry small events booking with the same tenacity.
